以前の職場にはよく海保の方がいらっしゃっていた。海保と海自の役割の違いがわからず、「何が違うんですか？」と聞いた私にＫさんはこうおっしゃった。「外国が海から攻めてきたときに、盾になって真っ先に殺されるのが僕ら。それから出てくるのが海自」。たいへんわかりやすく、また重い言葉でした。
